Ivana Ladan, MSc, NP, Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Naturopathic Practitioner

 

Ivana graduated in 2008 in acupuncture and herbal medicine in Berlin and undertook further studies and clinical training in Germany and China. After working for several years as an acupuncturist and herbalist in a busy clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Berlin, she decided to move to the UK and do a Master’s degree in Professional Practice in Acupuncture at the Middlesex University in London.

 

Ivana graduated with a Master’s degree from the Middlesex University in London after investigating the efficacy of acupuncture for the treatment of insomnia.

 

Alongside her full-time study commitments Ivana continued to work as an acupuncturist in the Park Clinic in North London and the NHS Pain Clinic at the Whittington Hospital. In her Master’s dissertation Ivana investigated the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of insomnia analysing numerous recently published studies from Europe, Asia, South and North America. Dedicated and passionate about her work, Ivana completed her studies ahead of schedule with distinction.

 

Ivana keeps a general practice but her special interest and areas of expertise include; insomnia, acute and chronic pain conditions, sport injuries, headaches, depression, anxiety, stress-related disorders and areas of women’s health.

 

Ivana’s expertise and her warm and caring character means she is ideally suited to work alongside the other practitioners at ML offering direct and co-management for a wide variety of patients.

It works to help to maintain your body’s equilibrium when due to a number of reasons (including lifestyle and environmental) the natural flow of vital energy (or Qi – pronounced ‘chee’) becomes depleted or blocked.
