Gloria Padulla – Massage Therapist
Gloria focuses on providing a holistic approach to her massage therapy. She believes in finding the root of the problem and not just the treating the symptoms. Understanding that massage is good way to help alleviate muscular aches and pains as well as to improve flexibility and function, Gloria has concentrated her career in massage on developing skills to allow her deliver consistent results to clients.
Gloria has 15 years experience in both Western and Eastern therapies. She studied at City and Islington college and achieved her ITEC Diploma in Complementary therapies (Holistic massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Indian head massage) in 2003. She then went on to study Sports massage at St. Mary’s University to learn about management and treatment of sports injuries. She also travelled to Bangkok to study the Traditional Thai massage in Wat Po Traditional Medical school. She believes strongly in the Eastern Philosophy of having a balanced life and in looking at a person as a whole, acknowledging the mind, body and spirit connection.
Since gaining her qualifications she has been dedicated and passionate in her work. Gloria has the ability to observe clients reactions and understand her clients preferences and needs. This allows her to adapt the treatment plan accordingly to be able to provide the best massage technique for each individual treatment session.
To improve outcomes for her patients, Gloria makes sure to give wellness and home care advice in order to get clients involved in their own wellbeing and educate them on how to best stay healthy.
