Dr Charlotta Binder BSc (Hons), MSc (Chiro)
Charlotta graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth following a 5 year masters course in chiropractic.
Her career choice came following the fantastic results she personally experienced through chiropractic treatment after a spinal injury in her teenage years. This sparked her curiosity into health, the function of the human body and the wide reaching health benefits of maintaining the structure and function of the human frame. Originally from Finland, she decided to follow her vocation and attend the prestigious chiropractic school in the UK.
Charlotta enjoys treating patients of all ages and during her studies, she took a particular interest in functional patient management and rehabilitation, enjoying the role of supervisor in the rehabilitation centre at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic. Her in-depth understanding of biomechanics helps her to establish the underlying cause of her patients’ complaints rather than simply treating their symptoms. Through addressing this she helps her patients recover faster from pain, prevent future injury and improve their overall quality of life.
Charlotta’s dissertation focussed on understanding the effect of footwear (minimalistic vs shod) on the mechanical stresses experienced in runners. With her knowledge in this area she delivers expert treatment and advice for amateur and professional sportsmen and women suffering from injury or simply looking to improve performance.
Through her continuing personal passion for understanding the physiological requirements for a healthy lifestyle she is able to promote this ethos to her patients and help them to experience long lasting health benefits.
